  • “I Felt Fuzzy” EP Out Now / video / launch event

    Posted by kelpe

A few things to mention in this post, all surrounding my new EP on Svetlana Industries….

New EP “I Felt Fuzzy” is out now on vinyl and digital via Svetlana Industries. Read a nice review on XLR8R, then maybe go to Boomkat, Bleep or Bandcamp to make the purchase – the digital edition includes Cupp Cave and Naïve Machine remixes, and the vinyl features a bonus rework from Rush Hour’s BNJMN . A free track from the EP is available here on Mixmag and there’s also a free 43 minute mix for download on Sonic Router, along with a review and interview.

You can preview the full EP here on Earmilk or listen to the sampler below.

Also, we got this nice video made by Jonathan Lieb:

And then, if you’re in London come down to the launch party on the 8th of May – the flyer gives you all the details and links through to a facebook event page that will keep you up to date. There is no charge for entry.

  • sound:frame festival

Had the pleasure of playing at Vienna’s magnificent Sound:frame festival a couple of weeks back. The festival had an expansive line-up extending over several days, and the night I played at featured Taylor McFerrin, Comfort Fit and a Svetlana Industries Showcase which consisted of me, Nightwave, 1000names and Thunderloops. Here’s a few pics:

First, “Speechless” by Soosh, which will be out on an EP “SoFar” on 19th March with additional remixes by Greenwood Sharps + Jameszoo + Sekuoia.

And this, for Pierce Warnecke’s “The Machine Regrets” which came out a couple of weeks ago.

  • SONOTOWN PARIS / GDANSK AND LUZERN

    Posted by kelpe

I should have posted this last week as it was meant as promotion for the gig I just did in Paris but I didn’t get round to it. Sonotown asked me for an exclusive podcast to promote the gig I played for them with Slugabed at New Morning Paris on the 21st Oct. The mix features new exclusives from Huess, 1000names and myself, and some new releases from ARP.101, Jonti eLan, etc. Click here to check the podcast – you can stream or download. Incidentally the New Morning venue was great and we had a ball playing there.

This weekend we are playing in Poland (Friday – w/ Young Montana) and Switzerland (Saturday – w/ Paris Suit Yourself etc) and since both events have video flyers made for them, I’m going to let them do the talking:

Also here is a little excerpt on Soundcloud, a rework of the track “Goldfishing” from Chocolate Money EP:

One of my all time favourite DJ’s Buddy Peace has put together a 24 megamix of my back catalogue, and entitled it “Cold Water Sign Language”.
