A few things to mention in this post, all surrounding my new EP on Svetlana Industries….
New EP “I Felt Fuzzy” is out now on vinyl and digital via Svetlana Industries. Read a nice review on XLR8R, then maybe go to Boomkat, Bleep or Bandcamp to make the purchase – the digital edition includes Cupp Cave and Naïve Machine remixes, and the vinyl features a bonus rework from Rush Hour’s BNJMN . A free track from the EP is available here on Mixmag and there’s also a free 43 minute mix for download on Sonic Router, along with a review and interview.
You can preview the full EP here on Earmilk or listen to the sampler below.
Also, we got this nice video made by Jonathan Lieb:
And then, if you’re in London come down to the launch party on the 8th of May – the flyer gives you all the details and links through to a facebook event page that will keep you up to date. There is no charge for entry.
Had the pleasure of playing at Vienna’s magnificent Sound:frame festival a couple of weeks back. The festival had an expansive line-up extending over several days, and the night I played at featured Taylor McFerrin, Comfort Fit and a Svetlana Industries Showcase which consisted of me, Nightwave, 1000names and Thunderloops. Here’s a few pics:
Boiler Room are now streaming upcoming EP title track “I Felt Fuzzy”, which means that you can now see some artwork by Rimrimrim, (also above).
Below is their stream and also a stream of Naive Machine’s remix of the same track. The EP will be out on vinyl on 16th April, and digitally on the 24th on Svetlana Industries. As well as the Naive Machine remix, there’s a remix by Cupp Cave (Ramp Recordings / Vlek Record) and a vinyl only remix by BNJMN.
Here’s 2 new remixes for the artists Soosh and Pierce Warnecke on the dutch label Fremdtunes (who I released Chocolate Money EP with in 2010).
First, “Speechless” by Soosh, which will be out on an EP “SoFar” on 19th March with additional remixes by Greenwood Sharps + Jameszoo + Sekuoia.
And this, for Pierce Warnecke’s “The Machine Regrets” which came out a couple of weeks ago.
Enjoy,
Kel
